What do the numbers in the Arabic transliteration mean?

You'll see that the transliterations on the TalkInArabic.com website contain numbers and capitalized letters throughout.

This is a variation we use of the popular Arabizi or chat alphabet.

The numbers and capitals are simply there to represent sounds that do not exist in English.

Below you'll see the Arabic letter, the corresponding number or capital letter that we use and the explanation.

This is not an official alphabet but merely used to help you follow.
